📂 Essential Documentation & Information

✔️ W-9 Form (Tax Identification):
Submit a completed IRS W-9 form. This includes your legal/business name, address, and Tax ID (SSN or EIN). W-3 Form is also required if your company has non-owner employees.

✔️ UBI Number (Washington State Registration):
If you operate in Washington, you must have a valid Unified Business Identifier (UBI) from the WA Department of Revenue.

✔️ EIN or SSN (Federal Tax ID):
Businesses need an EIN. Sole proprietors can submit an SSN through the W-9 to complete payment/tax profile setup.

✔️ COI – Certificate of Insurance:
Proof of active general liability insurance is required. Minimum coverage is typically $1 million. We verify the COI for effective dates and policy status.

🛠️ Additional Requirements

📜 Professional Licenses (If Applicable):
For regulated trades (e.g., electricians, plumbers, contractors), submit valid license documentation. WA contractors must be bonded and registered with L&I.

🔎 Background Check (Where Applicable):
Required for services involving private homes or sensitive spaces. Consent will be requested. Background must be clean or acceptably explained.

Ongoing Quality & Conduct:
Vendors must maintain a strong rating, communicate professionally, and complete quality work. Too many negative reviews or serious complaints may trigger review or removal.

Share what you need done, your preferred timeline and any relevant notes (materials on hand, budget range, etc.). The clearer your description, the more accurate the quotes will be.

📜 Agree to our Terms & Policies:
Clients must agree to Hazlo Pros’ Terms of Use and community guidelines, just like vendors. This includes no harassment, discrimination, spam or dishonest representation.

Respectful Communication:
Respond to messages promptly and professionally. Keep all communication on the platform for everyone’s safety and support if applicable.

📘 Fair Reviews & Timely Payment:
After the work is complete, leave an honest review to help others and pay your pro directly and on time using traceable methods.
